Devlog 08: New Name!!


The Grind Never Stops

We're now halfway our second develpment sprint now! The end is getting nearer while the game is getting more finished!

Let us check out what happened this week!

First of all..

I think you have all seen it, we are no longer called Vampire Heist... We are now...

!


More props!!

Almost all our props are ready, we just need a few more for next week and our mansion is almost done with it's renovations. ;)

 


Interactible Highlights

Have you ever wondered which items you can pick up/interact with? Well, it won't be a question anymore! Objects will now have a nice highlight around them, color coded to the player, so you'll always know what you can grab!



Dangerous NPCs

The enemies are improved! When they spot you now you will get more visual feedback! And you will actually lose the game now if they spot you! Be warned!

Menu functionality

The game can be finished and restarted! No more closing and restarting the application ;)

UI is a BIG part of the game you can't look around. That's why we are making sure it gets all the love it deserves!


Player Movement Upgrades! (In all aspects)

Of course our trusted programmers have also been busy behind the scenes, fixing bugs, polishing the movement in some niche scenarios and f.e. implemting character animations! We got:

If there is one lesson we have learned from this game already, is that there is always a lot of work to be found in small things you dont expect :)
